Child Protection, Rights & Civic Space
Child Protection, Rights & Civic Space
Children and women in crisis-affected areas face a high risk of child marriage, trafficking and violence. HEART runs community protection campaigns and follows the IASC principles on protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
We also advocate for human rights and an open civic space: from contributing to reform of the National Human Rights Commission Act to regional civil society advocacy in Bangkok.
What we do
- Community campaigns against child marriage and human trafficking
- Courtyard sessions on protection with women, men and adolescents
- PSEA and safeguarding, with a complaint and feedback mechanism
- Digital resilience and civic inclusion initiatives
- Human rights advocacy at national and regional level
